Let’s design your special hatband. Whether it is a braid in your team’s colors, a traditional thin band with just a feather or a unique band of beads or stones. Just email me and let me know what you’d like your finished product to look like. Remember, every piece of leather, feathers and even stones are all individually beautiful and unique. No two bands are exactly alike.

Materials and Process for Creating Your Special Accessory

The materials incorporated in the hatbands showcase a playful and artistic spirit. From leather and beads to cording, gemstones, and geodes, consider your vision for your ideal hatband. Begin by reaching out to Ruth to explore various fun options and sizes.

  • Various leathers provide different finishes for your piece.  Some are soft and subtle, others more firm and sturdy. There are embossed leathers and hair-on skins

  • Feathers can be long, short, fluffy and full, colorful or neutral

  • Cording comes in two widths:  3.5mm for a lighter weight finish and 6mm for a more structured tie.  Either can be finished with beads, bangles, or braids

  • Beads include Czech glass, conchos, metals, gemstone and acrylic

  • Gemstones can range from Blue Jasper, White Turquoise, Magnesite, Geodes, OCO and sliced Agate, various other slices

  • Afterward, you'll review the selected design and price for your unique piece of wearable art before placing your order as a custom product.  Please note that completion times may vary depending on the materials chosen

  • If ordering a GameDay braided band, know the three colors you will want to include

  • If ordering a GameDay beaded band, note whether you want more silver hardware tones, gold or a mix of metal coloring with the beads and charms
